SCREEN, PAD, FOIL, CAD CUT and DIGITAL small and large format printing.
"given time and money we can put a print on almost anything"
Combining modern digital and traditional printing methods
enables us to decorate a wide range of flat and 3 dimensional
products and substrates.
We are a Canberra based print business of some 25 years standing. While we endeavour to produce everything in house and control all our own processes, we also at times subcontract elements of the manufacturing process to companies that we know and trust to produce quality products.
OUR PROCESSES.
SCREEN PRINTING.
Flat and Cylindrical three dimensional printing of a full range of single, two component and UV cured ink chemistries. Printable Substrates include Glass, Steel, Self Adhesive Vinyls, Acrylic, PVC, Wood and Plastics amongst many others.
PAD PRINTING. Pad printing is a printing method that allows the transfer of a 2-dimensional image onto a 3-dimensional object of almost any substrate or composition. While just as effective for flat surfaces, this process is most often used for printing on parts that are round, have complex curvature or have a concave, convex or recessed and raised surfaces.
FOIL PRINTING. (Block)
A three dimensional etched die is mounted and heated with the product to be printed placed beneath it. A Metallized or Colour carrier film is inserted between the two and the die presses down through it. The foi is impressed into the surface of the product, pressure and heat cause the relevant image sections of the foil to release from the carrier material and bond with the printing surface. The die-stamping process itself is non-polluting because the materials involved are solvent free. As the tooling for this is fairly expensive the process is more suitable for longer print runs. Bright prestigous mettalic and opaque colour finishes can be achieved on darker back grounds due to the compostion of the colour foils.
DIGITAL FOIL PRINTING.
Using a thermal print head this modern method generates a foil print from a digital file avoiding traditionally expensive tool costs. Particularily suitable for short runs or variable data. Print size up to 300mm wide on a variety of smooth surface substrates of thicknesses up to ???
LASER TRANSFER FOILING.
Also known as sleeking, this method applies heat and pressure through a special foil to pre printed laser products on either paper or card. The foiled image itself can than again be laser overprinted creating metallic and shiny pigmented colour backgrounds.
DIGITAL FOIL PRINTING.
Using a thermal print head this modern method generates a foil print from a digital file avoiding traditionally expensive tool costs. Particularily suitable for short runs or variable data. Print size up to 300mm wide on a variety of smooth surface substrates.
WIDE FORMAT.
Wide-format printers are used to print banners, posters, trade show graphics, backlit film, architectural drawings, construction plans and any other large format artwork or signage. Wide-format printers employ some variant of Inkjet technology to produce the printed image, are more economical than other print methods and better suited for short-run or one off print projects.
